CNC Mach3 EMCO Grinding SALE
Aciera F4 mostly cleaned and tested
New to me this wonderful Aciera F4, one of the latest models. it has a large quill wit fine feed to. it runs 3400 rpm on the vertical head and 2000 on the horizontal spindle. the rotary / coordinate table is a wonderful attachment. the whole attachment can slide over the x-axis as well to enlarge the travel of the x-axis. i prefer this machine more than a Deckel FP1 because of the 200 mm travel of the Y-axis, the fine feed on the quill and the 3400 rpm of the main spindle. this machine is in wonderful condition, it came from a local university.

after i finished the new controller (Mach3 with CSLabs) i had to make a part for a friend of mine. had a few issues; the z-axis is to slow, when i speed it up it stalls and it did that 2 times... :-(. i think the x-axis can be more rigid using four instead of 2 carrying blocks of the linear guideways. a toolsetter would be a nice addition too.

coming up to the shop.... Aciera F4... what a wonderful machine. it comes with the rotary table with the coordinate table on top, the fixed table, the diving head, and a tilting and fixed vise. this is one of the latest models with the power feed on the y-axis. The EMCO FB3 has to leave the shop...😢

first cuts with the Cielle Beta CNC Mill Router. i build the Mach3 Controller into the electrical cabinet and did a test run with real milling. i still use the original Faemat 40.000 rpm water cooled spindle. must say, that it runs beter/smoother than i expected

Ciao Bella... got the very nice Cielle Beta 3035 home yesterday. I got it into the garage and mounted some caster wheels to the table so i can move it easily. i did try to let the spindle run but it didn't work.. i bought it with a CSLabs CNC controller, 4 DM556 stepper drives and a new control cabinet.

transfering the angle of a Deckel S1 arbor to a scrap piece of steel. when it is right i can start the ID grinding of the new made arbor

Checking the backlash of the Jones & Shipman Format 5. These machines have linear scales in a feedback loop with the controll. So any backlash in the normal leadscrews is compensated by the control.

did some work last week on the rotary grinding attachment. made the centers with carbide inserts from broken end mills. then the test on the Jones & Shipman Format 150 CNC Surface grinder. need to fool the control keep the table in the middle and move the saddle only. still 12 microns off... need to make one center adjustable i guess. i got advice from @stefan_gtwr not to make the driven side s...
